El Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH, presente en el lugar, confirma que la muerte de dos personas y cuatro heridos graves en la localidad de El Ejido en Almería, al sur de España y a unos 551 kilómetros de Madrid. El tiroteo perpetrado por un hombre español de 25 años, dejó muertos a sus dos padres y heridos de bala a su propio, un bebé de siete meses y a tres vecinos. The shooting, perpetrated by a 25-year-old Spanish man, left his two parents dead and his own son, a seven-month-old baby, and three neighbors with gunshot wounds.
Un posible caso de enfermedad mental:
Según ha informado la Comandancia de Almería al Consorcio JMH, se sospecha que el agresor detenido padece algún tipo de trastorno mental, mientras se busca el origen del arma homicida.
La tragedia ocurrió en El Canalillo, El Ejido, donde agentes de la Guardia Civil localizaron un vehículo con impactos de bala que albergaba en su interior los cadáveres de un matrimonio, padres del arrestado.
Cuatro heridos de gravedad:
El ataque dejó además cuatro heridos de gravedad en el entorno familiar y vecinal. Entre los más afectados se encuentra el propio hijo del autor de los disparos, un bebé de apenas siete meses que tuvo que ser evacuado en estado crítico. Asimismo, resultaron heridos por arma de fuego otra menor de dos años, una mujer y un hombre, todos ellos trasladados de urgencia al Hospital Universitario Torrecárdenas y al Hospital Universitario de Poniente, mientras que los menores, entre los que se encuentra el propio hijo del agresor, un bebé de siete meses, se encuentran desde anoche en la UCI Pediátrica del Hospital Materno Infantil Princesa Leonor.

A possible case of mental illness:
According to information provided to the JMH Consortium by the Almería Command, the arrested assailant is suspected of suffering from some type of mental disorder, while the origin of the murder weapon is being investigated.
The tragedy occurred in El Canalillo, El Ejido, where Civil Guard officers located a vehicle with bullet holes containing the bodies of a married couple, the parents of the arrested man.
Four seriously injured:
The attack also left four people seriously injured among the family and neighbors. Among the most seriously injured is the shooter's own son, a seven-month-old baby who had to be evacuated in critical condition. Also wounded by gunfire were a two-year-old girl, a woman, and a man, all of whom were rushed to Torrecárdenas University Hospital and Poniente University Hospital, respectively. The children, including the assailant's seven-month-old son, have been in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Princess Leonor Maternal and Child Hospital since last night.
